Hey guys! First GW2 video. Panic Strike Build.

I don’t consider myself a great thief, but I do consider myself decent. And I by now means think I’m superultrapro by posting this.

Constructive Criticism is always welcome!(Constructive being the keyword)

I should be making more in the future.

Hey not much feedback but in the entire video you used smoke screen only once and I think it was random click on it. If you don’t like it why don’t you switch it with something that you will use. Signet maybe or blinding powder.

As for the smokescreen, I realized it was on there, and I kept forgetting to switch it out..

I switched it on for the 5 power ranger team we went against earlier and just forgot to switch it back -_- I usually use signet

Not bad. One piece of constructive criticism/advice I have is just based on the second game when you’re chasing down the ele after it cuts from a fight with the guard. It looks like you’ve just stolen from him and BV is still unused, then he pops armor of earth while running away. Sometimes, if you open on an ele with BV and spike them instead, you can force AoE early and then steal into it and rip the stability (sometimes interrupting Ether renewal if that’s the heal they’re using). It puts eles into a hard position pretty quickly.

Pretty decent otherwise.

I’ve been liking the panic strike build. Been running it for a while but I run devoured with it.

ppl dont realize that smoke screen can be very useful
on dp you can get stealth by leaping HS do BS and w8 and again HS without loosing ini much to BP
with p/p and ricochet you can perma blind 3 ppl if you lucky on a point for good amount of time while doing good dmg with unload

I noticed that too.
Overall it’s not bad at all mate. I wish there were more full fights because a lot of the scene switching that you do, already start when the guy is at 75% or lower if you know what I mean. GG man.
Do you keep your smoke screen for rangers or something? or as an extra stealth mean?

Yea, as I stated in a previous post, I switched over to it for the 5 power ranger team we went against previously, and since I have the attention span of a walnut apparently, I forgot to switch it back.

And will certainly take note of more full fights.

Panic Strike Solo Que.

I’ve considered switching out Signet for Devourer Venom, or possibly Blinding Powder, because i don’t find the 1 initiative every 10 seconds that great and other than the guaranteed stomp on thieves, I don’t find it that special, especially when there are no thieves on the other team, and I can just save steal for the stomp of thieves as well.

Thoughts?

I found it funny watching myself facewalk into a line three times…. other than that I didn’t think it was too bad.

Cool vid. Besides the comments that others have already made, the only thing that I noticed you could do better was your finishers. I noticed many times that even if you put black powder down, they still fear you, or knock you down or whatever. I always put black powder down, THEN heart seeker in it to go in stealth. If it’s a guard, I’ll do that, then shadow step finish him while stealthed. It also reduces the risk of his teammates seeing him being finished by someone and knocking you back.

Not bad, could always be better though!

I also fixed the shakiness issue of the first video I think… You-Tubes Stabilization was the problem -_-

So, I’m sorry I’m not talking about your skills or editing, but what’s that shark animation at 0:50? First I’ve ever seen that.

Thoughts?

1. most of the time i saw you dodging inside guardian/necro aoe – dont
2. if guardian use focus shield dont walk to it or near it . it did 4-5k dmg to you. dodge or hit it from range 3 times
3. dog fear you 2 times so use pb+hs to constant blind also to prevent enemy to interrupt you
4. hit and run dont spam AA if you dont see you surrounding.
5. dont run to your enemy spawn alone
6. watch out guardian with aegis so AA before you burst them
7. use more HS to down 25% hp fast
8. use SB more

I cut out me killing the beast or running around decapping with no one to fight.

This is for the most part actually uncut minus the first few seconds where there isn’t anything going on.
