Ways to buff S/D

To start off this is a fair warning my grammar sucks and this is a view of someone who pvps way to much.
I always loved s/d every since i started playing this game which was beta weekend back in 2012 and ever since then i always wanted to play that acrobatic swordsman. So with the recent patches we’ve seen a nerf of the S/D thief overall. Everyone I know keeps stating it’s because of Feline Grace that s/d thieves are now not what they use to be, but I’ll say something different.
I personally believe because of the dps creep of everyone having 3 full trait-lines S/D thief has been left behind. What hurts the S/D thief the most is not putting out the damage needed to compete with other classes anymore. For me i think a simply fix would solve this and that be to decrease are auto attack cast times. With that we would be able to put out the dps needed to do what a thief does best and that is put out some good damage.
Before everyone goes up in arms about how it’s all about feline grace and that the old build had hardly any real big damage other then sigils. I would agree with you, but here is were i differ. S/D thief was used as a thief is suppose to be used +1ing and decapping but it could hold it’s own in 1v1’s (even beating d/d cele ele’s), but now we as s/d thieves aren’t that good with 1v1’s because of the dps creep which other classes got a huge buff in. Which is why i say we need a faster cast time for AA to maybe keep it up.
In my mind i think if old Feline Grace was added to the current acro tree it be to op. Since 1 we get a refill of our endurance gauge from Hard to Catch and we now have the Amazing ability of don’t stop (pretty much taking away any immob casted on you) with old FG we’d become in a really op state imo we almost be at the lvl d/d ele because we be able to bunk points forever with our evades and not being able to get locked down with don’t stop and still have our insane mobility.
Which brings me to something that’s been bothering me a little. S/D is still not complete crap like everyone is saying it still does the job of a thief completely well which is mainly +1ing and decapping. The main cause of them falling out of the meta is because they don’t have the same survivability as D/P atm or the damage output. The survivability I think is fixable with the increase of DPS because after all you survive if there dead.
This brings me to my final thought. If ANet doesn’t up our dps the only thing they could do would be to bring back our evade spam and for it not to be op in sense of 10 secs of evades Feline Grace would have to give a fix percentage of 15-20% of your endurance gauge back instead of 25% like it use too.
That’s my thoughts I know it’s kind of all over the place, and a little long. Anyway I would love to see everyone’s opinions on this and I would love to discuss this with others too. Also please give constructive criticism, like if you think that this is a stupid idea and that i’m totally wrong please state why and what you think would work instead.
