It should never, ever be preferable that you stop targeting and look straight down to get the most damage out of an ability.

It’s just poor game design.

Maybe if you’re PvPing.

The only other thing I can imagine you running is DA, Acro, and DD but that’s really going to hinder your utility and ability to respond to different builds. Probably want to sub out one line for trick to reduce steal cd which will help your problem, or you can run infiltrator’s signet.

Apparently only PvP exists on these forums. ’kay.

No even without a weakening Charge AA chain is better DPS outside of Combining Steal with Mug on Weakening charge, and you are trying to use Weakening Charge in a manner the skill wasn’t meant to, it’s a multi hit movement AoE skill similar to Rev Staff 5.

What you keep say you’re doing to make all hits the same area has been claimed to be an exploit by Devs through players manipulating Camera angle to affect skill movements, sooo yeah

Devs have stated they are working on a fix, and that it’s an exploit and isn’t intended behavior, go look up the thread about shortened Heartseeker leaps through black powder, that’s where the Devs response is /GG

Seems so. If it takes an “exploit” for a skill to be usable, then the skill is broken and needs a redesign. Seems hard for the others to understand.

I agree with op. Weakening charge was bad designed. If not used with steal, or camera down without target, nobody would really use it. It’s a skill which locks you into an animation and make you move forward, it doesn’t to more dmg than auto attack if used properly.
So yes, this skill would have been better off without the movement part!

It is being used in a way that is unintended in terms of its damage component.

It is also poorly-designed , but so is the entirety of Daredevil and almost every elite from HoT.

So, youre doing the most simplest of game modes that anyone can do traitless yet you can not be bothered to postion your self ??
