Weapon Swap
Someone suggesting a buff… I think I almost just cried out of happiness… lol!
I don’t know if it should have no cooldown at all though, I would say since weapon swap isn’t a thief-specific mechanic it doesn’t really make sense to make cooldown completely non-existent. I would however support a 5 second cooldown instead of 10. But then all the warriors would be all “waah why can thief swap weapon as fast as me!!!”. ;-P
Anyone who comes in intending to yell “OP!”… seriously, just let it go, let us relish the moment that we have someone asking for a buff for once!
It would be great, if “Quick Pockets” gets a weapon swap CD reduction of 5 seconds. Of course the “gain initiative on weapon swap” receives an ICD of 10 sec. Then it would be more like a grandmaster trait in my opinion.
5s on weapon swap would provide a swap spamming and using effects of weapon swapping sigils
and yep, there would be more flamers … so sad
Skilled Thiefs are dangerous
On swap-effects have an internal cooldown of 9(?) seconds. Still no need to call the OP-police.
On Swap Sigil – Cooldown listed on Wiki
Battle – The sigil has an internal 10 second cooldown.
Doom – A 10 second internal cooldown for swap.
Energy – Cooldown: 9 seconds
Geomancy – Cooldown: 9 seconds
Hydromancy – Cooldown: 9 seconds
Intelligence – None Listed
Leeching – internal cooldown of 9 seconds
Renewal – None listed (Mentioned in discussion tab there is no cooldown)
and refuses to spare the life in return for the surrender at discretion (unconditional surrender)
of a vanquished opponent.
u know….i really cant say any reason why not? as long as sigil swaps have Internal cooldowns….. thiswould be anice lil buff to thief making them more versatile but not a dmg buff or anything too too strong.
I’m not usually one to advocate major buffs or nerfs.. But a cooldown reduction at the least would be amazing.
Thanks for all the feedback, it seems the idea isn’t so bad, at least lowering the cooldown time that is. As for completelly removing it… those sigils without cooldown can be worrisome. I also didn’t knew about the trait that gave you initiative on weapon swapping, but as suggested above fixing it with a 10 seconds cooldown would literally nullify the problem.
