I take that the 2 weapon sets we currently use, should work in synergy and cover more various areas of combat. Mostly 1on1 and some AoE to be able to fight in both situations only with a swap of weapons…

One of my favourite survival weapons is condition P/D. But that is just single-enemy weapon set. What to do for an AeE? D/D DB conditions build does the trick. Is there anything else for condition stacking build?

On the other hand, some other builds like backstab D/D benefit more from power+precision. But also, that’s a single-enemy weapon set. What about power build melee? Guess S/P, right?

TL;DR: What builds/weapons combos do you use and like? And which attribute is best for that particular build?

well, for P/D conditions both short bow and D/D work great as off hands. both have access to AoE bleeds, while d/d lets you still have access to CnD and short bow gives you a poison field, and more mobility. oh, and a spamable blast finisher.

for any power based build, short bow is an amazing second weapon, for any build heavily using stealth, another melee weapon in the main hand of the second slot can allow you to weapon swap after stealthing to surprise your opponent with a diferent stealth attack. go into stealth with d/d then surprise them with a sword daze. or go into stealth with s/d and smack them with a s/p PW from stealth so they don’t see the initial wind up. most of our weapon sets have at least some synergy, but the utility of short bow makes it somewhat hard to give up.

SB is kinda cemented as a secondary weapon in PVE, unless it gets smacked with the AoE nerf tomorrow. It’s just way too good to leave out.

Being a berserker build, I usually do D/D + SB or P/P + SB if the situation calls.
