.. dp is dead. The aoe damage/CC flying around is just silly. Getting destroyed with resilence in shadows, blinds don’t do crap, headshot can’t really interrupt anyone anymore because of absurd amount of blocks, stab, invuls handled out to everyone. Besides pre-Hot builds simply got destroyed by oh so awesome Anet balancing.

I guess they reaaaalllllyyy wanted to force us into DrD. It just a rant since feedback doesn’t matter (see past few months) i am just really really disappointed that i am forced into garbage that i really hate if i actually want any matches in pvp now.

Play how you want? Yeaaahhh more like: you will eat horse crap and you will enjoy it because we force you to do so.

I was thinking about buying HOT again. Guess I will wait for more feedbacks.

Wait a couple weeks then unleash.

d/p is one of my least favorite sets, but with all it has to offer, I’m sure you just need to try a bit more to make a viable build. So much has changed, old stuff just doesn’t work. I’m having a lot of success with a zerker amulet in pvp. That wouldn’t of been the case before the patch. Adapt, and then keep adapting until the meta settles down.

I vowed to play through the story in HoT using DrD + Staff, in order to learn it.
Had to switch to D/P + SB for survivability at some point.

It is playable with DrD + Staff but soooo much easier using D/P + SB.

That is truely sad if I think about the fact that DrD was meant to be about scirmishing.

If I extrapolate this to PvP I would say you should definitely wait IF they fix thief AND DrD because atm the only thing good about the class is the staff animations.

Thief is dead. No really the thief just died, again, and the game has been a 4/5 the entire match.

For real, until the first balance patch, thief is not part of the pvp meta, at all.
