Hi fellow sneaky, acrobatic, high damage, genius, and such thieves, i play a dagger/dagger thief typical 0 30 30 10 0 i usally do 1v6 at the best, and i tried to swap out my dagger with a sword, i didnt even chance spec, and guess what i survived 1v3 for 6 minutes untill allies arrived: (condi meta burst necro) (Phantasm mesmer) (uplevled warrior) Ad that was with a shadowarts build, and poor gear optimzation and 1 hour of gameplay, guess what i made a spec that was made for that on my theorycraft, i got like fantastic stuff 3,500 power + 60 % chance + 116 % critdamage + 18 k hp, possiblity for passive movmentspeed cap. So i tought about making videos, when i got my gear and some training (will take some months atleast) since i tought S/d thief wvwvw gameplay was really not much off, i wanted to make videos, i so i wanna hear what community think shall i make videos about that in the future? if so how, commentary or just gameplay? id appricate a Yes/NO And if you say yes id also apprichate advice if you want
This did not include power of the mist and bloodlust as it can vary , not guard leech either due to im still working on applied fortidute so gonna take a long time, i included applied fortidute though.
Asking if I want to see a good thief play? Yes, no music please but explain what you do is much better imo. Too many music edited vids already.
Some roaming is nice, but also what you do when a zerg is around would be nice to see.
Good footage is always worth watching, especially if it’s well paced. Watching P/D attrition cheese for example isn’t much fun, so keep that in mind.
Music is ok if you’re going for entertainment value and show, but if you want the footage to be at least somewhat educational you should keep the music subtle and explain some of what you do.
And I’d welcome more than just “I attacked the Warrior because he was down-leveled”. Instead something more in depth and detailed would be nice. For example: “I switch to the Mesmer because he just used his heal and I know I can tank the Warrior for a few moments thanks to Evade spam”.

btw, your 3 zerker 3 solider concept is actually better than valkyrie on THIS spec, but on a hidden killer D/D, 3 valk is stillb best, but here with no hiddden killer il infact run 3 zerk and 3 solider

As Ive shown the math for repeatedly, that depends on how much of your damage comes from those “From Stealth” attacks, and only if you have Hidden Killer. Most people will never hit the plateau where Valkyrie is actually better for DPS in situations that matter, and the Soldiers mix offers more EHP.

Im not gonna make this thread about PVT + zerk VS valkyrie, but when playing d/d its all about the backstab’s damage you can sacrifice backstab damage for HS/C&D Damage and EHP, backstab is all that matters here, but PVT + zerker is really great for s/D
