I’m using shadowstep and the new shadow trap right now and they are both behaving differently and, for the most part, not working.

How do you know where you can teleport to with shadow step and whether or not you can return? With any of the teleport return abilities.

If they wanted to nerf “returns” they should have just made it so they fail when out of range instead of breaking the entire mechanic.

Yeah shadow trap is unreliable, for example:

Forest Map
Place trap at Mine, run to keep, port back to Mine works
Place trap at Henge, run to keep, port back to Henge fails.

It seems like the update broke it. Ive been having issues with Infiltrators strike only warping me 3 or 4 feet.

Not this update, the last two patches they adjusted shadowsteps, 2 patches ago they “fixed” the range on shadow return. then last big patch they “fixed” shadowstep pathing. since then, we cant do vertical movement anywhere it seems, and if there is the smallest pebble or tiny slope to the flat ground your on, that will count as going up and down and cause shadowsteps to fail.
