Pretty much the title. Levelling another thief because I’m bored, kinda just want to make it a core only thief. The old panic strike SA build probably still works, just wondering if anyone has anything more interesting to play with?

I play D/D Signet in and Da/Tri/Sa with D/P

I put my core build p/d on shelf a bit after changes to trap but have since dusted hm off and just changed how I use him in battle. It still works very well and of all the core builds I still try seems to still do the best.

Trap heavy condition build using DA, SA and trickery with p/d and shortbow , trappers runes which are invaluable for that 2 seconds stealth. It uses BT and RS for boon theft and the amount of boon theft it can churn out can really make a difference in a fight. It works real well against warriors that rely on resistance to ward off conditions and because it a kite and stealth build you can impede their ability to use zerker mode for adrenal or added cleanses.

I run the old fashioned DA/SA/TR dp/sb in pvp on my alt accnt. Works fine actually as long as ppl forget to hit their reveal button.

The P/P variety, whenever I feel like daredevil gets boring (surprisingly often). I’ll get the link for you…

With Deadeye coming I’m inspired to dust off a couple of Core builds and see what I can do. I ran acro in my build prior to HoT to prepare for that too.

In this case maybe I’ll run a D/D P/P build and play it like a sniper as much as possible. Hybrid damage too so it mixes offense types (I suspect rifle will be hybrid condi).

Hybrid Mace/Shield Rifle Warrior too just to get into the mood :p

Dagger/Dagger with SB. Venom, Venom, Trap utilites. DA, Acro and Trickery for traits. It was strong before this latest patch but is now near OP strong.

Activate venoms, prime Needle, Steal, dodge. 6+ different condis land with about 30 total stacks. Choking Gas and Twisted Fangs now come with extra DPS on a condi build.

You could also use Panic Strike and Body Shot on P/D and P/P setups. The new patch notes just charged up condi builds significantly.
