What do you think about this trait line
Typically;
- What you can use in PvP, you can use in WvW and PvE.
- What you can use in WvW, not necessarily useable in PvP, but good in PvE.
- What you can use in PvE, usually just for PvE.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.
10/30/30/0/0 is a classic D/D or S/D configuration. However CS has better traits and better DPS gain than DA, so there is no reason to split 10 points off, so 20/20/30/0/0 is a no.
I do question if you were able to do as much damage as a 25/30/x/x/x build with any other combination. As thief has crap weapon traits, any point taken off of DA/CS trees is a numbers loss. However what’s the point of going for max damage if you can’t survive? Death = zero damage. The SA tree is a nice tree that greatly adds utility to stealth or when you’re WvW zerging to flip to venom heals/sharing.
Thief faces trait tree spreads that are both great and horrible. Great in the fact that every tree offers something you want, but horrible for the fact that with some of the lowest base damage in the game, you have no choice but to heavily invest in DA/CS if you want to have hope of killing anyone but a noob that doesn’t know how to remove bleeds… so there is no real build options anyways. Until they boost the Thief base damage to where you can pick utility and still kill effectively, enjoy your x/30/x/x/x builds.

The damage with the 10/30/30 set up was quite impressing. I have tested this build about 2 weeks now and i can say for the champion in cof p1 i can do with the best auto attack number 1 dagger skill around 2.2-2.9k dmg each time. It might be not the most evident way but between the casual build and this build a heavy golem in the mists with out any crit chance/dmg just basic everything and using auto attack there was only 6mili seconds difference or from adding the dmg output around 40 dmg loss with this build. Overall i like the build because it grants regeneration to me and to allies if i use BP and off course there is a little more survivability.
I am using ruby orbs on my armor and sigil of bloodlust and ruby orb on off hand weapon. I personally like this build because it still has the damage but also more survivability and a bit more stealth time. I love it when i steal it instant stealths me which lets me do backstab right away.

I forgot to mention that with this build you can add easily 10+ stacks of might
