Coming back from a 2 year break from the game, and it seems that thieves are now wanted in groups for their stealth capabilities. However, the meta seems to be D/D. When I left, S/P for trash (b/c even though its less damage than D/D, ability to hit more than one target cause more damage overall) and switch to D/D for bosses w/ Shortbow on switch was the optimal set w/ Berserker gear.

Now it seems like its just D/D and Shortbow? Did they nerf sword or pistol oh or something that makes it really that inefficient?

Dagger 1 hits 2 targets – shortbow hits a lot of mobs.
I still use either D/D or S/P and SB as my second – have to know what is up ahead though.

I run a venom share S/P build in Fractals and it works really well.

Nothing has changed other than dungeons being on farm status; people are lazy enough to not bother swapping to S/P for trash, as there is very little trash that isn’t skipped, and that which you do clear drops in seconds anyway.

The main difference is that Dagger auto-attack now hit 2 targets, compare to the 3 targets for Sword. The difference isn’t high enough for most people to bother swapping weapons. S/P is still more dps than D/D against 3+ targets, but usually when you attack 3+ targets, they are relatively easy to kill that it’s not really that worth it to swap weapons.
