Sea Of Sorrows Commander
(edited by TakaEagle.9486)
What race and gender is your thief? Want some ideas :P
P.S was thinknig female human or male charr
(edited by TakaEagle.9486)
Human female. Just for T3 cultural.
Male Sylvari. I thought it was a good idea cause no one would expect a sylvari to be a thief
Male Asura. Just for the style
Female Sylvari, SYlvari seem fairly mischevious to me and the accent/“wonder and amazement” they have supports this.
Male Norn. Because racial elites. That said, he’s pretty much as small as a norn can get.
Asuran male, because if you’re a thief, you may as well be egotistical as well.
I really like asura i just hate the fact you can’t see the hard-earnt gear from dungeons endgame; not well at least.
Charr male .
Male asura… Just because they do killing with style and everything for fun! :-P
female sylvari
first character I made, so no game reasons
Charr male .
Human female. Just for T3 cultural.
This, although if they ever open up race changes (which I’m assuming they will at some point), I think I’m gonna change her to Sylvari.
Male human with the “from the streets” background. It’s about as generically “thief” as you can get.

Human female noble. My thief was such a good thief when growing up that she never got caught and made her way into the aristocracy. I associate the street thieves with poor quality, small heists.
Human Male. Because I’m bland.
Female Norn cause no one expects a 7ft tall female to just dissapear.
human female – always have, always will
Male Sylvari. Why? Because I’m a dark as night plant that kills people.
Male Sylvari. The face option that looks like your face is carved out of bark makes for an intimidating Thief.
Human male thief, my character in GW1 was an assassin from Cantha. Despite this, I had already rolled him as a warrior, so remade his look, and named him based off my main from City of Heroes.
Ironically in beta, I had a human female thief, but I just wanted the iconic look of the duelist coat you see on human male thief in the character profession choice at creation, haha.
Female Charr. I didn’t realize at the time how badly the medium armor clips with Charr but there are some…well ok 2 armors that like so its alright.
Human male… its easier for me to immerse myself in RPGs if I play a “me” character.
Human female.
I could say it’s because if I’m going to spend 100+ hours looking at an avatar, it might as well be a hot chick, but the truth is it’s because I want to be a girl.
Female who usually plays female here. Thief will be my 4th character in this game. I’ve already got human, norn and sylvari characters, and I was aiming for one of each race. I created a charr and an asura thief, but I think the asura animations are winning out here so I guess I’ll save the charr slot for another profession. It kills me that the asura’s long ears stick up when her weapons are drawn. So funny – and her diminutive size suits all those speedy darting motions.
Human male. Wishing I made a human-looking norn. I can also see using a charr.
Human – Female.
Just fits me, great-looking armors, nice animations and I´m human too
Charr male .
Human female.

+1 for an unexpected LOL
Male Asura here because the Asura animations are just so great.
I found the concept of a Norn female thief amusing, and I do like their voices.

Heh, it totally fits my character too. I barely use Cloak and Dagger or the stealth heal skill, and mostly dodge/brute-force my way around. He’s a very nimble fighter, and quite charming, but stealthy sneaky assassin he is not.
….Concerning Norn Thief…
I remember a scene from “Conan The Barbarian”:
Subotai pointing to Conan(Arnold Schwarzenegger),saying:
-You are too big to be a thief!!!!
Male Asura for Pain Inverter.
Male Sylvari.
I’ve always played Male elf for my thief/bard/rogue. Just fits with what I used to play on D&D pen and paper!
Male Sylvari. I thought it was a good idea cause no one would expect a sylvari to be a thief
Made me chuckle….the no one expectin a sylvari to be a thief, hehe. Cuz well….theres nobody thats famous in Guild Wars thats a sylvari and a thief, hehe.
Caithe, former member of Destiny’s Edge. Hehe, tho I was very tempted to play a sylvari…. Ended up makin a wannabe nightmare court sylvari necro…. My thief is a male human…tho very short and stocky.
I’m a guy and I play a human female thief. Started making female toons since aion. I rather stare at a female toon while playing.
female norn.
Scars all over the face. Had to make a point :>
Human female.

+1.

It doesn’t work that way, you’re either born into aristocracy, or wed into it. Being a good thief and not get caught will not make your way into aristocracy, nor will being a bad thief get you out of it aristocracy. There are simply no bigger thieves then aristocrats, that’s why.
Male Asura because Small + floppy ears + flips = Yoda.
Human female. I also have a Norn and Sylvari thief, but not past 40. I spotted a human female in the tier 3 armor and was sold. Took awhile to make her though, not a fan of most human female options.
Asuran male, because if you’re a thief, you may as well be egotistical as well.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Asura female and Rottaran beat me to saying it ;p.
Fuman Hemale, mostly to please my eyes.
Human male, because I like being as generic and boring as possible apparently. But really, the armors look best on a human frame IMO.
Sylvari male just because the t3 makes all other medium armor look like trash.
