What's your opinion on distracting daggers?
I was trying somewhat of a “Disrupter” build and was using it with ok results. But I never see it being mentioned here or anywhere: 25secs CD, 3 dazes that proc well with Pulmonary Impact and 10secs added to the skill they interrupt. Am I missing something here? It sounds nice on paper. Necros get BTFO and it can be cruel on team fights.
Not a horrible skill just doesn’t rank as high as Shadow Step, Bandits Defense, couple of Signets, Needle Trap, Imparing Daggers, etc. Even for an interrupt build, I find Head Shot is more than ample for generating enough interrupts.
“Youre lips are movin and youre complaining about something thats wingeing.”
It is a good skill i used it on my interrupt build 2.3kpower 1.2k condition damage, you interrupt their heals with distracting, or wars burst etc ^^
Also against noobs u just headshot-disd-headshot-disd-headshot bamm 15 stack torment 5 pulmonary 9/11 they die
As an interupter i had these skills: distraction daggers,/ headshot on 1 weaponset, bandit defense/ + impact strike (dont chain use it) These are kinda effective with an interrupter
what break the skill is the CD start at end of the final dagger thrown. so on paper it says it 25s CD but effectively a 40s CD make it much worse if the CD started second you pop it would be more used.

Honestly, I think this is how it should be. Otherwise, it could be up 100% of the time.
but that the main reason it not used because it CD just to high .
Just did some testing and it doesn’t proc on auto attack. Adding it to the wiki.
if you want an interrupt build to proc PI you better off with /p offhand in my opinion. On the other hand if you have a build where youu want to proc an interrupt for Torment off pressure strike this does ok in builds that do not have interrupts and are condition based (d/d p/d)
Major thing I found was they seemed easy to dodge/block and there entirely too much stability if these an only source with that cooldown.
i found only real reason to run that skill is if you want to make a strange S/D build
they are distracting you from better options in utility skills
Impairing dagger has a higher impact in a fight at least for me in comparison with Distracting Dagger. It’s a toss between Impairing vs Bandits defense when I play my thief, steal and pistol 4 has enough interrupt for my needs.
I don’t use them because 1. They are not all that strong, and 2. they wear off too soon. If they were permanent until spent and did decent damage I would use them. I use the other daggers instead and they’re a lot of fun.

It should be up 100% of the time if you don’t use them. The “cost” of the ability is that you have to activate it before using it. If you only use it once every 25 seconds then you should be able to “reload” instantly.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”
When I use it for my interrupt build, it feels like I just have more interrupts to spam so i can save some initiative. The thing is though after you get use to timing interrupts it seems like its too much and I would rather just use a different utility
i really think that utility is only strong on weapon set that do not have many sources to CC mech like s/d or p/d may even be cool on short bow some how
It’s bad. Wanna’ argue for 3 pages about it?
I wish distracting dagger would have another effect other than interupt, I want it to taunt and slow. Make it literally distracting.

The skill is redundant on X/P but it works great on some builds.
For example, on D/D+Staff power build it works great to execute those whose passive defenses are down.
