So, when HoT comes out, what staff skin will you choose? I read that someone stated that a big staff is better (pun intended), as it makes the animations better.

I’m not even sure I will use staff much, but definitely the one from the Daredevil track.

Debating between using the Daredevil staff or buying the Chaos Staff. Trying to decide if a big or skinny staff is better.

I do very much like the foldy up Leyline staff skin but perhaps it’s more Druidy

Bifrost+dreamer and unicorn finisher.. With pink dyes ofc. New thief meta

Chaos Staff if Revenant doesn’t steal all my attention.

Enforcer & the Guild Commendation Staff both look really cool for Daredevil.

Lets face it, the Scythe skin though… Anyone got 3500~gold spare for me?

Nah, it looks pretty clunky and cluttered. Scythe is clean and + its blade is massive!

Think you have it backwards. o.O It’s all dirty, rickety and frail looking because it’s a Halloween toy and not a real weapon. It could snap in two in one swing. It’s nowhere near the quality of Final Rest or the GW1 Scythes that Assassins gracefully massacred MTSC with.

I have an old screenshot of when the Scythe used to cost 150 gold and I didn’t have them back then.. I look at it so sour. :p

If you’re into the big black staff, go for shadow.

Kek! Yeah, will check that out. I have dagger/pistol/shortbow in shadow, so maybe I’ll follow my trend on that theme.

I had the scythe staff skin dropped on 1st halloween.

Sold it for 33g a week later to gear my main.

On another note, you think staff prices will get higher after HoT now that thieves (well, those who want to play DD) buy staves, and druids? Guess not, I mean. Staff is a very common weapon used by a lot of classes.

For thief, there aren’t that many staffs that look melee enough imo. Somewhat a massive staff looks fine for a caster class but with thief :/

I really like bloody prince with my ele but for thief, I’ll probably use guild pillar or molten (I just wish molten was slightly bigger). The staffs on pic are all my favourites ones and except for the shadow staff, I’ll consider all for thief, depending on overall look.

Either that new staff skin or just Staff. I’ve checked out everything and nothing looks good at all for a daredevil thief but Staff at least looks close to being just a staff.

been using the kodan staff in the betas, ’cause it kinda looks like a spear.

I want to see someone make their thief look like Gandalf, that would be pretty funny seeing him put a beat down with staff (maybe with the elder wood staff)

I’m thinking about Tempest Staff. Im jealous of characters with big swords on their back so maybe Tempest Staff will satisfy this desire.

Im going to have to go with the Guild Pillar. That blade on the end just screams Melee weapon.

Yeah, I will be testing this as well. I haven’t seen the new staff skin yet, but Guild Pillar is long and with a blade on the end, noice.

staff is a non thief weapon it realy doesnt fit a assassin class im rly disapointed in u anet guys making from thief a monk torch or rifle was a better idea in my opinion or just create a monk class

I don’t blame you…it’s just a plain boring staff.

I’m so gonna use Nevermore, but until I craft it, the Makeshift Staff will do.
