Guild Wars 2

I just made a thief mainly for sPvP and WvW and I want to try something different and use a glass cannon build. Also what armour should I look for? What runes should I look for too?

The common BackStab build.
Power-Precision-Critical.
30 DA-30 CS- 10 Trickery.
Scholar Runes on armour and bloodlust in weapon.
Its a fun build to play but pray you don’t end up fighting someone who knows what they are doing.Its frustrating when theres nothing you can do to kill them and be forced to flee.Personaly not my style so thats why I don’t like the build very much but its realy fun against most of people.They drop like mosquitos:D
There are also hybrids , less damage more defence but you said Glass Cannon so there.

a word of advice about full glass cannon thieves, run if you see a bunker guardian/warrior. you’ll just kinda bounce off their armor, then get hammer slammed to death since you have super low hp/armor.

with superior skill you can kill them of course, but they are a kind of hard counter, so equal skill they will usually end up on top

Glass cannon is never really good. Maybe for a little WvW, but when you’re outnumbered you have little choice but to run. I suggest a nice P/D condition damage build. However, if you want Glass Cannon, use berserkers gear. It should give power(self explanatory), precision(higher crit chance), higher crit damage. If you don’t want to pay the price for berserker’s gear, the Citadel of Flame dungeons offers nice rewards that have the same stats, with better looks.

It is not suicide playing a glass cannon as thief, its more like playing a wrecking ball destroying people, who end up in the forum complaining that we are to strong.
