Guild Wars 2

i just seem to not be having fun roaming with d/d at the moment, but i love thief. any help on what to do, what to try ?

I also cant seem to make D/D work. I run crit (just prefer it over DA), SA and Trick. My sustain is non existent compared to D/P. I run half valk/half zerk gear with both builds. I am not saying that thief is weak, at least the d/p set is working for me. But d/d is much more fun and I would love to roam with it in wvw. If anyone could point me to any good build or give me some advice, I would be grateful.
