Okay so just a quick thing, I have a thief doing a stealth/crit dps build.

Ive always heard to use divinity runes for the dmg increase,
but someone today told me i should get Scholar runes instead. Which would be better for a crit dmg thief?

Assuming this is in PvP, 5 Scholar + 1 Divinity offers the highest direct damage boost mathematically (someone feel free to correct me if 6 Ogre runes are in fact higher).

Scholar i would think, also eagle if straight up crit

eagle runes = 90 Precision+Crit chance+ crit damage.
Scholar runes = 90 Power + Crit damage+10% damage is HP is above 90%.
Divinity runes = 60 of every stat + balanced build with around 12% crit damage.

if you’d ask me, over all i would say go for ruby orbs, power+precision+crit damage.
