Seeing that my concern was address I decided to change the topic.

Working fine for me, may be a stupid question but do you have Hidden Thief trait up that stealths on steal? If so then CnD may be whats revealing you in that regard

I dunno really, Im not sure how I feel about Lyssa runes now for my Mirage alt build, DD 0/30/30 i mean 0/6/6/2/0 may be okay but so far Im concerned about Lyssa

thats true for ALL professions not just us so… we might as well give it a shot or join the condi train that is growing faster than ever!

Reminder: the worse meta we had since launch was jun-dec condi meta… I have a bad feeling about this, will we have another 6 month of condi meta?!

P/d condi got a nice buff for pvp. Confusion + krait, get some real good cover up conditions. I’ll greatly miss sleight of hand but meh had to move on eventually.

AE, IP are aweful and won’t be used for anything other than testing. People will soon realize how little it brings as a GM trait. The new SA trait could be nice though.

Yea for roaming condi seems the way to go, condi meta for 6 months? well that depends if anet thinks its a bad thing or not so far I havent heard there thoughts on it.

Honestly, if I can’t play the game as I want too as dps zerker, I’ll just stop playing thief in general. I’ll just main my ele and bend myself over for the condi meta. I absolutely refuse to main a condi cheese build on my thief. GG Anet g..g

since when is P/D considered cheesy?

D/P with its was the build that outstealthed any other thiefbuild in order to be the one landing that backstab. The build that most players considered cheesy.

P/D has always been a good build but lacked dmg, duration and condi variety (compared to other condi clases). So anyone who was able to copy/paste the word “melandru” did ok against that build.

Just sayin..i played thatbuild for a long time, like it and honstly met way more D/P D/D or even S/X builds.

So you might not be joining a train but actually leaving it.

People use P/D in pvp? I never see that outside of WvW.

Ditch power, get percision. Trust me on that, try it, pecision beats power for thieves, it always has.

I am to lazy to explain why in detail, but if you got problems with doing not enough damage try it…

I don’t like doing 3k crits though. :\

Although I did notice a drop in damage while roaming on d/p and fights did take longer I still had no problem killing people. I would not say the build is totally broken just a bit weaker than before. I do not run full zerker though, maybe about 80% with some knights so my dps drop might not be as large as some other people’s. It does seem that most thieves already rerolled p/d though as I didn’t see any others running power the last two nights.

It absolutely doesn’t. Throw stats into an excel spreadsheet then add 100 power -> compute; substract and add precision -> compute. Power beats precision hands down no contest :P

Mine is fine; S/P + SB running 3/0/0/5/6 with Lyssa runes and a mix of Knight’s/Soldier’s/Zerker’s. My damage loss was fairly modest because I didn’t rely too much on critical damage to begin with. No problem killing the specs that I used to be able to kill, or capturing objectives.

Will probably adjust it in the coming days, though. Lyssa’s #6 doesn’t really do it for me anymore without the free boons, but there isn’t yet an obvious replacement. I’m leaning towards sets that give boons on heal though, since I do like Lyssa #4.
