Okay but that also happens with D/P Meta. If that is just the problem then Thief should just be viable with S/P and S/D but pll still name the D/P meta viable too
Because D/P trickery is good at shutting down opponents during team fights when your allies are keeping the point capped/from being capped. It’s almost easier to simply disengage and go to another point when you’re forced into stealth to heal up than it is to stay in combat and wait for SR to heal you. When you aren’t attacking to heal the difference is between you letting your opponent heal up as well or simply being on your way to another point to at least get the decap if not the cap off.
You can’t cap points while stealthed. That means for every second youre in stealth on a point, the person youre fighting is deccapping it. Which means theres no real reason for you to be on the point anyway.

Well then I’ll just try S/P and wait for new play mode where D/P is more opiomal. Shadow Arts was one of the things that made me want to play Thief. I’m not talking about the trait line but the style. I did the Thief to be a steath staby staby killer. I also like S/P I will just miss the staby kills
