Pretty much tired of thieves, I’m hoping to see one or multiples nerfs as soon as possible, will the upcoming Jan update contain nerfs to thieves? Oh and to those thieves out there who want to defend there class by claiming it’s balanced or even underpowered: There has to be a reason why half of the community is complaining how OP thieves are right?

I have a strong feeling (I play all toons so this is a neutral statement) that cluster bomb is going to be nerfed. They said AOE’s are too strong and are going to be nerfing them, we have a spammable one that hits HARD. Other than that I don’t see any other changes to thieves (on the Aoe side at least.) who knows what might happen in other areas.

Since this patch is suppose to fix the culling, that by itself will be a major nerf to thief gameplay.

The only “community” that is “complaining how OP thieves are” is the “community” of BAD and ignorant players (most notably found in these forums). The in-game “community” holds a completely different, and a lot more realistic outlook on the matter. Now, kindly stop with the trolling, and direct yourself out of here.

i belive burst builds will receive some love
and P/D builds will get nerfed:)

Apparently, in this next patch single target gets some limelight, whilst AoE drops in effectiveness. So whatever this patch yields, Thieves will still retain a good place as single-target kings.

Umh no, not really. The active ingame community is useally also active on the forum, I also often see complains about thieves in team chat in WvW, so no… And why would this “community of bad and ignorant players” not complain, or complain less about other classes?

Haha, another ignorant who is so much lazy to L2P agains thieves and better go cry on forum and hope for nerf. Im pretty much tired of crying kids who only know cry on forum instead of learning how to play against thief. You should not better play multiplayer games, kid. Go play better another game and let ppl here breathe free without your poisoning topics. And those, who are still complaining are only ignorants who know only cry and dont want to learn how to play.

First at all, because you called me a kid, I’ll consider you as a kid yourself. Instead of using strong arguments why Thieves are not OP (which are rare), you are telling me to stop crying. I’ve played alot of MP games, from FPSs to RPG’s, and it always had some lack of balance, but not always that there was one absolute OP class, which is certainly the case in Guild Wars 2: Thieves.

Let me break the reality of the matter to you:

Thieves are the WEAKEST class in the game right now. They’re only GOOD at killing other thieves when it comes to a skilled player showdown. The ONLY thing “OP” about them is CULLING in WvW. Guess what that means? Thief itself is NOT a problem, CULLING is.

Take your ignorance elsewhere.

I have learnt one important thing. Using strong arguments against ppl like you is only time wasting. You only see your “OP” truth and nothing will change it. Ppl like you are only real problem on game and not “OP” thieves. Thief is one of the weakest classes on game and for example my friends from guild has no problem to kill thieves its only you who dont know how to play against them. Another nerf of thief only ruin this class and it will be unplayable and nobody will not take thief to dungeon etc. And this is only thx to crying kids on forum. Its global problem on all games = crying kids.

Lol sorry mate I play a thief, and this is laughable. Thieves are a very strong class in the game right now in WvW and SPVP/TPVP. PVE they can do well as well. Stealth is the strongest way to drop aggro/get out of jail card in the game, and we can do it every 3 seconds. I play a dagger pistol thief, so don’t try and tell me otherwise. I know the class well, and I know the capabilities of other classes as well. I have played thief in SPVP, TPVP, WVW, and PVE. They are nowhere near the weakest class in the game. I bet the rangers and engines would love to talk to you on that statement you just made.

BlueprintLFE dont pretend that you play thief if you have on down written elementalist. You are only another one who want cry for nerf.
