Perhaps im a noob, i need to l2p; idk. Call me whatever it is, but as the title implies, will I feel and be more useful for my team if a reroll to revenant o ele?

Most classes have too much sustain the higher I get in ranked. +1 is becoming harder and decapping not always work if my team can’t sustain points.

I managed to get myself to ruby with thief, but at this point i have much higher chance to win with scrapper or ele. Thief is just too squishy and doesn’t have the tools to break up large team fights, and 1v1 situations are out of the question too. When you combine this with the fact that at this level enemies will defend their points most of the time there just isn’t that much you can do.

If you don’t want to play Scrapper, would a Rev be a viable option?

Well revenant is op as hell so yes, arguably even better for carrying games.

if the opposing team has something like a scrapper and 2 revs, rerolling might be wise. Revs just love smacking teefs with their staff 5 >.<

Reaper and druid, although they can’t carry, would likely be more useful against some teams aswell.

It depends on what your team has, and what you are facing. In some cases, if the opposite team seems to have a lot of sustain, and that your team is full of roamers (druids, scrappers, tanky necros), you’re better off with thief: it will be more effective to end fights quickly on the side nodes.

Naturally, if the opposite team is full of condi mesmers, condi necros or dragonhunters, or just thief hardcounters (scrappers, revs) playing something like ele will be better.
