In the latest Go4 GW2 cup finale with The Abjured vs Dodge or Die I saw Magic Toker pull this move on mid fight on Legacy.

Anyone know how to do this? I think he used Infiltrators Arrow in combination with Withdraw inside Shadow Refuge. I don’t think this was possible and I really couldn’t believe my eyes…

Can anyone confirm this or share the knowledge on how to do it?

Yeah, that move is awesome, but always consider that withdraw is an evade, so maybe don’t cancel it immidiatly. Using it in a tiny spot without AOE inside refuge is priceless.

Yea the withdraw roll cancel can be extremely helpful in situations where you are fighting on an elevated platform and you don’t want to fall off. Although on most maps, I like to keep the full animation for the maximum dodge, I used to always cancel when I played Skyhammer. xD

If an enemy is within your shadow refuge (and you don’t have mug traited) you can steal just before you exit your shadow refuge with the roll and keep your evade time.

Thought this was common knowledge….

you can cancel a lot of movement skills with weapon swap – - like warrior sword 2 to stop at mid range.
most people don’t know it if they don’t pvp long enough tho.
