That build will die very quickly if you get locked down. You have a few stun breaks but immobilize will be very hard to deal with. Still, I have to say I like the idea of people playing around with different things. Take a look at this armor set, it might be less “one-shot” but might get you killed less often (swapping out the traits/weapons/utilities to your build of course).

That build looks awful to me. I get the concept of stacking the damage but you focused too much precision over power. Anything near or over 3k armor (which is a lot of stuff these days) will hardly notice your big shots. My Thief, Mesmer, Warrior, Elementalist, Guardian, Engineer and Necro builds all run 3k or more armor and would tear this build apart without much effort.

You’d need to run Trickster and Panic Strike on such a build. I play(ed) signet D/D + S/D thief (quit thief on 7/26 patch) for close to four years, and those two are absolute necessities for basic combat functionality.

Though seriously, D/D is such trash with the 1s ICD on stealth attacks now it’s not even worth trying. The nerf to S/x today killed any purpose of using sword for literally anything in WvW except more 3spam, which is weaker than D/P’s.

All other weapons have been removed from viability except Staff, D/P or D/D condi cancer. Diversity on thief is dead in the water. Play meta or play another class/game.
