difference in the amount of time people have to play and mess around with/tweak builds. Avoid brushing off people so casually.
I don’t think there is a current meta… we’re all just kinda floating around aimlessly. Maybe PD?
I’m trying venom share… but will probably go back to my 0/20/30/20/0 DD build unless I find a way to make the VS work really well.

With the new buff to Pistol Whip’s cast time, I haven’t had this much fun on my thief since beta !!
30 DA (hands down the best trait line for s/p builds post Dec 10 patch)
30 CS
10 wherever you wish… who cares !
Sundering Strikes (now buffed to apply vul every other crit on average… with high enough precis you can stack it up to 11 times !), Exposed Weakness (for additional 10% damage boost once SS procs) and Panic Strike for the finishing lock down… LOL… I can’t believe how good the DA trait line has gotten !
Honestly I think every thing still works as far as roaming goes. D/D P/D S/D D/P are all still in a a good spot. S/D seems fine too but many feel hurt by the nerf and might find the play less rewarding. As far as roaming goes if your build is solid and built around your weapon set you should be fine.

i kinda have to agree. the best thieves dont share there builds bc they get them nerfed/changed.
OP builds dont get nerfed. good builds do. there hasnt been many OP skills in the game…. prolly 12 or so id say IMHO.
there is a VERY strong power/crit condition time build using pistols and p/d …..its a non condition build but runs high direct dmg and high condition time.
the other is p/d condition
and sometimes the 10 30 0 0 30 d/p agressive version for SPVP/TPVP which i personally dont care for
