Guild Wars 2

Ok, recently came back to the game and looking for an alt, wondering if thief would be my cup of tea. My requirements are the class have good burst dps and good escape ability. The two classes I’m leaning towards on this are Warrior and Thief. Both seem to have great mobility & good/great dps? Which do you feel is in a better spot for WvW these days?

Warrior gets buffed every patch, Thief gets nerfed every patch, and Warrior is already better in WvW and PVE.

IMHO both classes are strong, but thieves have a higher skill cap. That being said, it really differs person to person.

Both are good.

There are certain things thieves can pull off that warriors can’t (things like 1v5+ where stealth makes a difference), but your average thief probably won’t be able to do it either, and it’s more of a sustain build thing anyway.

Basically, so long as you make no mistakes you can do practically anything on a thief, but warrior is a lot more forgiving when it comes to mistakes.

Both are good, but if you plan to play even in party go for warrior since you can better support your team mates.
