Hi guys,seems i keep getting kitten easy mode by all classes on WvW,serious dunno what to do ,im using my random gear…seems the enemy does a lot of damage on me and never seem to loose health bellow 50 percent…what can i do? do i have to use any pvp gear or something? i feel thief is very weak atm.

1) Look up thief trait builds (this will also tell you what to buy for step 2)
2) Buy some equipment of yellow or higher quality. Most importantly you want an exotic weapon
3) Read what other classes can do (in general, I’m not asking you to memorize everything)
4) Practice a lot because a lot of roaming people are pretty good at 1v1s so don’t expect to beat anyone your first time

The other option is to run in a zerg. This is really easy: equip a shortbow, bind every key to either 1 or 2, and roll your face on the keyboard.

First of all, you need to be clear on what weapon setup you’re using.
I assume you’re going D\D so the main issue here is timing and learning how and when to Cloack and Dagger.
Talking about gear i’m a balancaed stats fan, so my advice would be to try to improve your gear, reaching the goal of atleast 1,2-1,5k thougness 90% crit damage and around 40-50% crit chance.
This can be reached via Valkyrie gear (Power Vitality Crit Damage) with Berseker Trinkets and the 0/30/30/10/0 Hidden killer build (http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fYAQNAoYVlUmiO3ey5E+5Ey2jKcnIKuHGVS1UdF4KA)
The build showed above is a good start if you’re aiming to play mostly D\D, credits goes to Yshis for providing the build.
If you’re going to be a P\D condition build with loltrops i suggest going full Carrion armor (Power Vitality Condition Damage) with 2 Krait runes 2 Centaur runes and 2 Afflicted runes. Trinkets will be Chrysocola.

These are the goals you can keep in mind and can work towards in my opinion.

Im using yellow set,but my weaps/rings/offset are all still weak,has for traits im using 0.20.30.20.0,VI,III then Vi,V and finally VI,X.
Im using shortbow+daggers

if your a thief and you come across enemy run for your life if you fight back gw2 will keep nerfing us.out of allthe professions we havebeen nerfed the most.herte is a qute i read before gw2 release by gw2 we do not want the thief to have perm stealh we dont want them to use it as a chruch that been said that means we wont nerf ther other abilities because of no perm stealh well what happen lol we have record history nerfs of any class in any mmo
