Depending on numbers, possible to black powder, double dodge leap, repeat in 5 sec?

All the enemy would need to do is walk somewhere near the smoke field, as the trait that grants the leap finisher also deals damage, which would cause the thief to reveal themselves.

It’s a more initiative efficient way to maintain combo stealth, but it’s harder to keep from revealing yourself, making it a better option for p/p than d/p or s/p looks like.

you touch on a good point. You think it will work like heart seeker and give free strike on entering stealth?

That’s all they had to do before with heartseeker and bp though. It’s still possible to stealth multiple times using the same smoke field. You just have to be more careful about it. Like aiming so there isn’t anyone in your leap path. Or aiming from the edge of bp out so you won’t hit anyone in the middle of the bp. Leap finisher’s aren’t particularly picky, just have to barely graze the field anywhere in your leap and you’ll get the stealth.

I’m skeptical if you could do this infinitely, but even if you could do it for a long time, you cost yourself your ability to dodge attacks in addition to your initiative while also being at risk of reveal.

You don’t need the dodges for an (almost) endless loop. Heartseeker + BP + Shadow Arts can handle that by itself if you can get 4 leaps with camera tricks.
