Whats your favorite weaponset in wvw? Which one do you enjoy the Most?

My favorite Set is d/d, cuz style and Fluid. I Would love s/d if tactical strike was a little more rewarding.

Love d/d the most, I like it’s in your face playstyle and the look of welding them. I just wish it had all working skills, dancing dagger is so fail, I do a small victory dance every time it connects.

I will always like DD, I may use other sets but this one will always be my favorite

Interesting, I love D/D as well, but every other thief I run into prefers some variant of S/X. Although, S/D is my weapon swap.

I used to like D/P but after trying the standard 2/6/0/0/6 s/d build into spvp i really love s/d now. I love being able to just jump in and interrupt with steal and burst someone down from full.

For WvW/PVP it has to be D/P and SB

S/D for lyfe. Mained it for over a year.

S/P, because every single skill on that bar actually has an use in every build for PvE.

WvW: D/D and shortbow. Love the style of D/D, and the fast gameplay. It also appeals to me that you have to hit C&D for stealth (which also does some nice DMG). It can be a bit repetitive tho, and I would like that nr 3 on D/D is reworked (IMO. Some claim D/D to be a kind of hybrid set, but most ppl use it for power). And that throwing dagger? Seems like it never hits. So despite using only 3 of the skills D/D has to offer, I still use it the most.

Tried experimenting a bit with S/D now, seems like a cool weaponset as well. Went for 2/0/6/0/6 for a lot of steal abilities and more ini. Love to steal boons Ele’s defenses are severely down when I’m ripping the boons of them and giving it to my self. Or stealing a 15 mightstack from a Guard, also pretty fun. I’m like: “Oh, cheers!”

S/D despite all the nerfs. Not because of any other Thieves

S/D for me as well. I’ve played it since betas and I love it dearly, even though it always seems to get collaterally nerfed when they try to fix problems with other sets.

Also, it looks cool.

Depends on my mood. Though I’ve liked S/D since I started playing, usually with points in SA and Ac, then I started removing them and some patches later I ended up with S/D + SB 2/6/0/0/6.

2nd place D/D, I run it sometimes in spvp/tpvp, but it could really use some buffs, it’s not right when the set is at the point when you feel bad for your team for not picking D/P.

It’s on virtually every build, so it has to be, right?

I kinda like pistols doing bang-bang, so that’s P/P or P/D. And Sword plus Dagger for style.
