Let’s all admit no thief playing competitive is using the acrobat trait line. The acrobat line has almost no improvement trait used for pvp. Yet the trait line has vitality the most important defense stat for the thief class and shadow arts has toughness the stat of least value for the thief class. The trait line of most value for the thief class has the stat of the least value. With toughness in shadow arts trait the Anet developers are forcing thief players to take a huge negative with a positive.

As far as I know most SD-builds use Acrobatics.

I also have a friend who plays a condi PD-build with Acrobatics instead of Shadows Arts.

I disagree with toughness being the stat of least value for thieves. When using Shadows Arts you usually don’t have to worry about conditions but direct damage.

The stability change might make the new one pretty crazy, if it gets a fair duration with 1 charge.

They took my idea of changing this trait to stability on dodge and gave it to the Revenant. ….. T.T

Feline Grace is enough to use at least 3 in Acrobatics, as it is.

I have custom builds for wvw and pvp which are wildly different, but both run 6 points in Acrobatics.

Ehhh.. Feline grace is useful, Quick pockets marginally so, but the other options are so much better across the board that there’s no real reason to actually run full acrobatics.

Could just take feline grace/fleet shadow, be good, and not need the rest.

Feline grace, vigorous recovery, and withdraw can cover the weaknesses of D/D, although I agree with you and never go past feline grace anymore.

Only 3-4 ever go into Acrobatics. Any more and you’re crazy. :o
