So I was wondering haven’t played my thief in ages, I am about to start crafting Ascended for my thief, would Assassin’s in Head, Chest and Legs and zerker in every other slots be a solid choice, and is it the current min max for thief dps like it is for a few other classes. for a power based build?

what type of game mode? pve or wvw?

No, keep full berserker. Your crit chance is already high enough with Side strike and signet of agility.

you will have 62% Crit Chance in full zerk+Signet of Agility
Keen Observer: +5%
Side Strike: +7%
Banner of Discipline: +8%
Fury: +20%
= 102%
Didn’t list Spotter, because its already hard enough to get Disc Banner and Fury in some PuG runs.

So, as Oxtred said, go full zerk for PvE. If you get bad pug’s just use candied dragon rolls, Thrill of the Crime and Furious Retaliation and you will still have decent amount of Fury uptime+70 precision from the food.For Infusions, Power.

I have full berserker except for Zhaitan’s Claw trinket.
Pretty much this, Assassin gear ’s not much use though I guess a piece is nice to have for crit procs and, well, balancing out your stats.

It depends on what you do and your build. I can only really speak for dagger mainhand.

WvW: Full Valk (extra needed survivability).

PvE: Full Berserker (There’s no better for DPS, no matter how you look at it).
