does d/d work? i like dual daggers and shortbow but p/d seems like the better choice.. i dont really like p/d though so am hoping i could get some input from you guys on what to do.

i intend to do mostly roaming and i prefer dots over high burst damage.

D/D can work as a condi set by abusing #3 for massive bleed stacks, but you’d need venoms on your utilities for support conditions. P/D has superior sustained damage through ranged autoattack and stealth attacks that inflict bleed and easy distancing and torment through #3. All D/D really has as a condi set is #3, everything else on the set is power-based (well not #4, but cripple doesn’t DoT), so D/D is better as a full zerker or possibly hybrid.

P/D Dire with any condi dmg rune is one of the cheesiest roaming builds there is, though.

how about carrion? i see that it got both power and condi damage on it.. i could maybe go for skale venom and spider venom.. it doesn’t have to be a full on condi build but i want them to be at least noticeable while running with daggers.

Death blossom has such low power scaling that the only stat that would be effective would be dire.

But dire, especially P/D dire thief, is cheesy and un-fun.

Carrion would would with P/D because Shadow Strike has a very high power scaling ratio and also teleports you away and applies torment.
