In terms of damage / control on bosses which set brings more to a fight. If you had a thief in your party what would you want him to use? On trash? On bosses? etc…

Personally I like S/D for trash and veterans. Cleave for the trash and near perma stun for the veteran/silver mobs. Easy condition clearing and boon removal is gravy.

However for a defiant champion, I prefer D/P. Blinds and high single target damage!

Love those 2 sets, would only run them if I could get away with no ranged!
