dmg reduction bug?
the enemy deals 10% less – not you receive 10% less so you can stack up more – it is not linear
10% damage dealt by enemy is only reduced not received – it doesnt sum up linearly
isnt it the same thing
the enemy with no trait or rune did 2500 dmg to me
now if i should get 10% less dmg from trait and 7% less dmg from rune i should see 17% less dmg on my log
also the weakness should effet the same as now the enemy should have one also 10% less dmg to me and it did as the dmg was reduce to 2200
but than i should have get 17% less dmg but i didnt see it
Technically those 3 reductions should cumulate to a -24.67% due to how dmg modifiers are used in game.
They’re not summed, they’re all sequentally multiplied, so it’s 0.9 × 0.9 × 0.93 = 0.7533, so in your example of 2500 dmg without reduction, you should have received 1883 with all the reductions.
