Does stealth stack in duration if u cast multuple stealth skills?

Yes. HOWEVER

There is an exception, and that is stealth skills that cause damage. If you damage someone while you are in stealth, you will be revealed.

I.e., you cannot double C&D on someone for 6-8s of stealth. You can only do it once, because the second hit will reveal you (damage)

Doesn’t work. You get revealed and the reveal debuff activates and you don’t go back into stealth. It used to work that way.

Won’t work, as you’d be under the revealed debuff after the backstab.

Stealth stacks in duration. Through my MANY experiments to elaborate on this, I don’t think I have ever seen the duration on the Stealth buff go past 17 seconds (keep in mind that all my tests were done solo and without aid of any other thief)

If you want to stay in Stealth forever (can only be done out of combat) without the use of the d/p set, here are my directions:

Prerequisites – Master of Deception [Deception skills recharge 20% faster] (from Shadow Arts), Infusion of Shadow [Gain 2 initiative whenever you use a skill that stealths you] (from Shadow Arts)
Optional Traits – Patience [Regain initiative faster while in Stealth] (from Shadow Arts), Preparedness [Increases maximum initiative by 3] (from Trickery),

Utility Skills – Blinding Powder, Shadow Refuge, Smokescreen
Heal – Hide in Shadows
Weapon sets – Shortbow / X

Rotation:
Smokescreen – ClusterBomb at feet x5 – wait until Stealth is almost up – Shadow Refuge – wait – Black Powder – wait – Smokescreen – ClusterBomb at feet x5 – wait – (this is where the “repeat” starts, however you may need to add in a Hide in Shadows to stay in Stealth permanently)

Stealth stacks, but there seems to be a cap to how much you can stack it.

About the proposed combo, take in mind that if you plant 2 smoke fields and Heatseeker through them, you will only get the combo with 1 of the fields (you can however Leap multiple times on the same field, then plant another one and leap multiple times on that one).

This isn’t true, personally I’ve gotten up to 15 seconds, just in this thread someone has said they got to 17, and I’ve seen two thieves manage to get several minutes of stealth.

Here is a screenshot I just took, managed to get it to 16 seconds. I also didn’t use Steal (which should give me stealth by way of Traits) and Hide in Shadows.

The ca kitten sources of stealth MAX! This was changed a few patches ago.

5×3 normally for 15 secs or 5×4 if you have 15 SA for 20 seconds.

I’m trying to learn how to drive my stealth thief.

Yes- I was reading Cruuk’s Guide http://intothemists.com/guides/guide.php?id=5
and he suggested in the comments to do this…

“Ya a good thing to do is make a square of the black powder as you heartseeker through it. Kind of cutting the corners so to speak. Or you can just angle the camera on the 3rd heartseeker as you come back into it.
