help me out fellow thieves
Necromancers have always been a tough fight in general due to the aoe’s and conditions with high survivability. Engineers however are a different story, you see necromancers are actually disciplined with their conditions believe it or not, condi engis will spam everything they have at you on a low CD and since they can go full into power and crit, not only are the condis eating you but the raw power as well. Not to mention the spam and the fact that incendiary powder can apply burning (one of the most potent conditions in the game) on even a mere spammable auto attack. This makes engineers an extremely hard fight if they are your skill level or better.
If they deploy turrets, dont go near them (via supply crate) use shortbow. And be aggressive making them panic, however I do not have much knowledge on engis (even though I have one) necromancers are a different story, if they are condition based, do NOT use full burst in the start of a fight, they can and will use deathshroud to mitigate damage from you. They can also play the whole fight 100% defensively and still win. You need patience and to deal the most damage in between their major marks and other attacks. Use the fear from them to CC them as often as possible, during this you should deal as much damage as possible. If they plague form, switch to shortbow and start kiting
But before the patch, only lich necros gave me any trouble…the condis i could just dodge all the marks, steal into their fear and kill them, but now they just blow me up.
i dunno what to do with them. same goes to all condi people. i just simply wither away.
*just did another soloq, no condi enemies ; did just fine against them.
**just did yet another soloq, this time there was a terrormancer…holy kitten!
