We make cloak and dagger so that it cant be used to get perma stealth. make a buff similar to revealed but then just for cloak and dagger. this way people can no longer perma stealth with cloak and dagger but they can still go in stealth after a cloak and dagger using a skill like hide in shadows or shadow refuge. how about that?

Or just go with the original plan to give Revealed on any stealth skill, broken or not. You know, the plan that didn’t break everything PvE-related.

true, but if im in stealth and i take heavy aoe damage i would like to go in stealth again with my healing skill.

nah that would be addressing a specific problem not a blanket nerf to an entire mechanic effecting almost every build for a profession, best go with the old plan and at the same keep the new plan.

I proposed similar things before, namely making it so if you do nothing but CnD all but the first CnD does no hits, so your stealthed but doing nothing while still being totally vulnerable. But Anet and other people like above prefer blanket nerfs that effect lots of other things making them broken and useless

okay, well i thought people had problems with perma stealthing thieves that just keep hitting with cloak and dagger every 4 seconds so i thought this would fix that. but seems like they wanna do more than remove perma stealtht

  • Stealth: The duration of Revealed has been increased to 4 seconds when coming out of stealth via an attack against human players or their pets/summons. It still remains at 3 seconds when coming out from attacking NPCs.

Well no duh. His first sentance said “Here, Anet, I will help you” This incase you don’t read english well is implying that he is helping Anet out by rewriting the patch notes for them and suggesting a more balanced change that effects PvE less and actually does fix issue in WvW.
