kind of a simple question I haven’t found a direct answer for. The skill has you roll back and gain initiative, how does that work if your kneeling. Can you not use the skill, or does it just give you the initiative and skip the roll? or does it jump you out of the kneel stance?

Same way Withdraw works. The skill plays out normally, it’s as if you dodged in Kneel. You end up back in kneel in the new position.

Yup, you’ll stay in Kneel.

Works like a charm. With the lower ICD this one of my go to skills across every build. It right up there with SOA.

cool, seems like a pretty good skill to use with deadeye. I’m currently leveling up a thief to hopefully try it out when PoF drops.

Since we are already inside that discussion. Does anyone tested if you can reverse roll on Kneel stance?

from what i remember you cant really turn while kneeling (except by attacking)
im not 100% sure if “about face” works or not, but i dont think so :/

Tricks are really something to consider with deadeye. Since the reduced cooldown patch they are fairly viable

Your character will turn around when attacking after a withdraw/ roll for initiative. The same doesn’t apply for shadowstep……
