is this actually possible?
I guess so. The problem will be when you run into a class/build that can avoid your first wave of attacks. Then you’re pretty screwed over.
The crit chance and crit damage obviously is but the power isn’t. I think you were looking at ‘effective power’, which is the combination of several factors.
Ya. Effective power. As for them surviving my first wave, depending on the profession I’ll toy with them before letting loose, let them think they know what’s coming spending most of their damage. It works well for me. Although I have still been stomped due to my under estimating or a small mistake sometimes. *please don’t flame me for my play style choices… >. < just wondering how much I can trust gw2buildcraft

technically you can get an effective power of well into the 9k+ region if you calculate in stuff like the +crit chance on the side and back trait (which the calculator adds in automatically yet executioner isn’t) and the odd fury.
But you have to remember in those cases you only hit that effective power in the few specific circumstances so keep that in mind when your using the effective power.
And yeah you’ll eat a lot of dirt with that build the moment people start locking down your evades

Who said anything about evades? between so much stealth and shadow steps I like to toy with most unprepared people and watch their omg thief reaction.
I like to wait for thieves to stealth and then kill them in it when im playing my other professions :P
Hey that’s fun too. My main is an engi and love dropping a crate on hidden thieves xD. I like the random factors of 1v1 encounters. … trying to play each profession so I can counter things much better but in the end I think my main will become my thief when I’ve learned enough about everything else
