How’s it going guys. I used to play back when the game came out and quit when the thief got killed by all the nerfs in November and December of 2012. Whats new in terms of builds and general thief tactics. I would really love to play the thief again. Please no trolls just trying to get info quickly.

S/D is meta bcs of cleave in the meta. Full Acro Trickery traits is meta bcs it helps with sustain.

D/P is viable in a coordinated team.

S/P is viable as well.

2/6/0/0/6 is the other trait spread that you’ll see in the meta for d/P and S/D. I don’t remember the trait splits for pistol whip atm.

Shortbow is still pretty much mandatory for the 2nd weapon.

There are several viable builds for Thief at the moment.

• S/D – Several different variants.
• D/D – I think there’s a couple good builds going around for these.
• D/P – Several different again. Condi spec, Venomshares, Power builds etc.
• P/P – Wouldn’t say there’s any competetive builds for this, but there’s couple fun builds going around for Unload spam.
