Are you intending to use this build in SPVP? Although they have nerfed the ability to perma stealth from the black powder and heart seeker combo, it is still a viable build, although for SPVP there are currently much better builds out there at the moment IMO if you want to help your team win some matches efficiently.

The need for 30 points in the SA line is a lot less important in SPVP then in WVW…PM me if you want for the build I use in SPVP currently which does quite well in tournament matches and is very challenging/fun to play…

Yea, agreed that SA isn’t really a stellar trait line for sPvP, although you could do much worse. For a good D/P build, consider the trickery build that is generally considered one of our best options:

For heal, use either Withdraw with Lyssa runes (lyssa runes will cleanse condi) or use Withdraw with something like Ogre runes.

For utility skills, you have a lot of flexibility. Shadow’s Refuge, Shadowstep, Blinding Powder, Infiltrator’s Signet, Signet of Agility, Shadow Trap, etc. are all good options. Just make sure to have at least 1 stunbreak.

As far as using the build goes, don’t focus too much on backstabs. Lead attacks keeps your auto attack strong while your ini is full and the blinds from #3 and #5 are both the core of what keeps you alive. Steal is also a clutch ability in the build since it’s a source of damage, healing, boon stealing, daze, and of course, getting the stolen bundle. You can do some really solid lockdown on something like a necro by using basilisk, then stealing once the stun wears off, then fearing with the stolen ability.
