hi im new lvl 80 thief an am struggling to realise how thiefs stay in stealth so long an still maintain massive dmg was wondering if any1 could explain, so far if i go dmg my stealth is low an if i go stealth my dmg is non existant even in zerker gear

Hi, could you explain a bit better? If you are wondering how we stealth and do damage at the same time then unless it’s via conditions, it’s not possible, stealth breaks upon dealing direct damage. As to how we stealth long, we normally only stealth for 3-4 seconds max. Shadow refuge on the other hand stealths for 15 seconds, 10 of which allow you to move freely. Jumping through a smoke field ala heartseeker allows for stacking stealth as well but at the cost of initiative, blasting a smoke field has the same effect.
