Hey guys, I run an S/p thief main and I outplayed a necro and ele in wvw tonight. Both of them messaged me claiming i was macro’ing my pistol whip to my sword 2. i mean, i just kinda press the buttons. they claimed i was reported ect ect.. but is that an actual thing? and am i going to get banned for people claiming i macro’d some skills together?

no, there are logs that can prove if you cheated or not, anet doesn’t reflex ban over whiny babies.

right on thanks for the quick reply. i haven’t ever been accused of that before so it kinda worried me. i do have some pretty funny chat logs not appropriate for this forum though. haha,

Lucky you ! .. Seriously don’t worry about it though.

Last I checked macros are allowed, from my understanding only mods that can give an advantage are not allowed, I do not have a mouse for macros sadly. Just google it I believe it was confirmed in 2014.

More importantly, how did you actually manage to fight those classes with the Thief as it is? What sort of build are you using? Were they just terrible at their class or using some strange build?
I have an inordinate amount of trouble fighting any of these classes, so it’s strange to hear…

Hey there, I used a full glass executioner/no quarter/trickery S/P build, valk armor zerk trinkets.

the necro was good but the ele was staff. keep in mind this is WvW. the ele was easy pickings and I just kited alot through Inf return and sb 5 then would take a stab at them with cooldowns ready.

Was pretty funny though, with stacks and bloodlust i nailed that ele for 13k with a pistol whip on the first go, inf strike’d so him and auto’d him once and he was down. necro was pretty good fight though, i was amazed he was mad since it was so fun! but i use nothing but defensive utilities, withdraw, roll for init, refuge.

Another s/p main! I didn’t know there were any… I was roaming with the same set tonight, and I similarly got told I was hacking and that I had been reported. Must be the free to play people who don’t understand or something.

Another s/p main! I didn’t know there were any… I was roaming with the same set tonight, and I similarly got told I was hacking and that I had been reported. Must be the free to play people who don’t understand or something.

I love S/P, my favorite weapon set by far. utility behind inf strike and return is amazing for roaming and dueling. shame they upped the init demand in PvP to 6, not as appealing to run to me in pvp.
