Hi. Came back after a year+, not having problems with the thief S/P and D/P work well. Super effective. Problem is they don’t feel very “thiefy” to me. Especially the S/P. SB is great, I can usually kill everything well before it touches me. (I read and learned about combos
), however, again, not Thiefy, I have my ranger for the bow stuff.
I have not really experimented much with D/D yet. Is there a build, perhaps after you unlock traits, that is more stealthy, feels more like a D&D style rogue, or dare I say it a ninja like flavor? Before you ask, I prefer my ninja marinated in lime juice and salt, ala Brazilian style. Rsrs and all that. So, I am looking for something now, or developing into something that does not feel like a medium armor warrior with a teleport trick.
Is there anything about Thief that says you should maintain a minimum precision number while leveling? Historically, I think of thief/rogue classes as all about getting crits. But I have been power stacking, as I have read to do. Seems to work well.
Before I invest too much time, I thought I would check in here. If what I want just isn’t there, hey no worries, I love my other characters.
