sigils
I’ve tried the trait and didn’t like that I got quickness semi-randomly. If you have enough points in Critical Strikes I suggest trying the trait to see if it works for you.
daggers don’t have much in mobility other than heartseeker (and steal) and it’s mobility tanks if you have quickness. better off with sigil of fire and bloodlust on daggers for more burst. also, if this is for pve then definite no.
haste is too random. i think precision, force, air and fire are better.
If you are going full glass, then you probably have the better quickness proc on precision line 2nd major already. Additionally, depending on how your glass is built, just go for more damage or more crit chance, whichever one you need. For instance, I have +91% crit dmg, but my crit chance is only 50%, so I would go for sigil of precision or sigil of accuracy. I have sigil of air for the other slot as it’s higher single target dps than fire.

What are you guys thoughts on Sigil of Strength? I have it on my Dagger and Shortbow, but it doesn’t proc enough even when I get 70% crit rate with fury!
I have Sigil of Fire and it procs all the time and almost always on my first crit.
Has anyone ever thought of running 2 Sigil of Force’s with daggers instead? I would think 10% passive all around damage would be better than on-chance sigils.

You will hate it when you go to refuge under quickness and only get 3 seconds of stealth. Happens more than you would think.
Sigil of strength only works if you have setups with a lot of boon duration+. You pretty much need the trait line with boon duratio nand runes that increase might duration for it to be worth it.
I think it’s been proven somewhere that in both sustained dmg and burst, sigil of air is better for single target and sigil of fire is better for multi-target. Sigil of force is not good for thief because thief glass cannon usually comes with precision more so than power. Other profession can make use of force if they don’t heavily invest into precision, but thief pretty much always invest into trait line 2, so proc on crit is the norm.

Yeah, I’m going to drop Sigil of Strength on my Dagger. I read on the wiki that all Sigil’s share internal cooldowns so that’s why I hardly notice it proccing. I like Sigil of Fire though because it fits well with being in melee range.
I’m going to either go Sigil of Force or Bloodlust.

In short, I agree with this poster completely. Having an alt weapon with bloodlust isn’t a bad idea though.
However, quickness proc I’ve found was only really good with mainhand sword, since you have more mobility via Infil. Strike and it’s range isn’t affected by haste. With daggers, it can be rather disorienting to proc it in the middle of a chain or during a HS if you need to close the gap, it also drastically decreases HS’s leap range.
For daggers, Fire or Air + Force / Accuracy is probably best. I prefer Force + Air, just my 2 cents.

Quickness proc is also very good with dual pistols. It speeds up unload burst very well. I have that sigil in a gun and when i swap to p/p it procs really often to melt down super mobile classes.
So I ended up going Sigil of Force + Sigil of Fire for my Daggers. I really hate stack on-kill sigils and much rather have just a passive 5% bonus.
Still debating what to do with my Shortbow. I have Sigil of Strength on it and procs very often when you’re AOEing, but I can probably go air.

I have a Sigil of Fire on my shortbow. The whole point of the bow is long-range multi-target attacks, even with the autoattack. Its a nice additional AOE damage added to it.
