You do realize haste makes you lose endurance, right? Flanking strike is only used on one weapon set.
Perma-Revealed and stealthless Backstab…makes more sense.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

Lolwut? That’s like saying Mesmers use clones too much, and Engis use toolkits too much, Rangers use pets too much, etc.
As a thief I would be pretty upset if stealth was nerfed, it’d be same as removing pet swap from Rangers, reducing number of clones from Mes, etc. Thieves were designed to use stealth in combat, it’s a core mechanic of the profession. And I’m a condi thief, I don’t even use it as much as other thieves do. I think it’s very balanced now because when I play ranger and Engi I can kill thieves pretty easily, even as a condi thief I can usually kill other thieves without much trouble. No it’s not fun to get spiked down and not see it coming, but the tradeoff is that thieves are extremely easy to kill if you know what you’re doing. Like when I’m on a team with 3 thieves, I know it’s a loss. A team with 3 rangers, otoh, is gonna be tough to beat.
So it’s clearly balanced with the 3 and 4s revealed, there’s no need to nerf stealth any further; I sincerely hope it IS a bug.

We gave the trolls enough food for now, let them respond… don’t give them anymore, they gotta work for it.
All they have to do to fix thief is reduce the cooldown on Blinding powder to 25 seconds. Reduce the CD of cloaked in shadows to 25 seconds and remove the smoke field on pistol 5, and reduce the cost to compensate instead. Thieves would be perfect then. Push the stealth to dagger OH or utilities. Good to go.
