The Thief trait lines need some changes so a player can focus on one type of damage build. A player makes a condition damage build they have to put their traits points in deadly arts and trickery. They have to put the trait points in two trait lines to get both full condition damage and condition duration stat bonus. The description on the deadly arts trait line says the traits focus on venoms and poison yet one of the stats in the trait line is power. Damage types like poison their strength is increased with condition damage and condition duration power has no effect on the potency of poison or the severity of bleed damage. Move the power stat to trickery and condition damage to deadly arts making the deadly arts line more effective for a condition damage build. Players would then have the six points they currently have to use in trickery available to spend in another tree like shadow arts allowing a condition damage/shadow arts or acrobat build both currently only available without the condition duration bonus from trickery.

It’s scattered potential, there are no pure damage/conditions build . You will always have some of something else we all can heal even with 0 healing power,get boon with 0 boon duration,do dots with 0 condi damage. The game doesn’t support what you are recommending neither a hardcore stat customization.

Your argument loses value as the trait within lines are scattered potential as well and it’s your opinion unless no stats were attached to lines which is one thing I’m sure will never happen. That would be to the point customization, Anet and content doesn’t support.
