ok i v been playin the game for 4 days i m lvl 56 and here s my problem just like the other posts while doin dungeons using D/D i can t do anything , as soon as i get near the boss or the mobs i m getting killed so i m been forced to use shortbow but it s no fun … i could use P/P but i m more interested in D/D . so first of all what s the build for D/D pve ? i v red that alot of thieves are having the same problem but in the other hand alot of thieves are doin just fine using D/D … so who can help me ? can someone give me the build for D/D (the spells and the traits) . i v red that thieves got great dps but they are too squishy and they are melee class so that doesn t make sense the bosses got alot of aoe damage i m having problems dodging everything . i m confused . i need help plz

Some people are genius of dodging and not getting one shot with DD that being said its the minority. Read the post and you’ll see. Look I will break it to you no bull thief PvE is lackluster but not useless. D/P S/P and S/D all do well in dungeons as does PP and shortbow. DD http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Twisting_Fangs spam with condition damage and also work well and P/D can be good.

If you really want to be the top burst DPS go warrior with Axe and GS you’ll have more sustained dps, burst dps, and survival time than most thief builds.

That being said I love S/D thief and the only class I play more is DD ele.
