ok I’m a thief glory level 34 with 1100+ games and lately I seen these other thieves teleporting with me when I teleport on down state. To messed to their time I use down state teleport when they are about to finish me, but when I do they teleport with me at the same time and bang finished, is this a bug? or how the heck they can do that because I can’t.

Steal, most likely. You can shadowstep mid-stomp to finish someone who tries to escape like that.
If you want to be a real bad-kitten, you can do stuff like starting a stomp on a Guardian, using Shadowstep to get out of range of their blast interrupt, then Shadow Return back into range just before the stomp finishes.

no, the animation is when I’m down and they are about to finish me, I teleport and they do teleport with me at the same time, is not running is not steal and hell sure is not shadowstep.

I don’t understand, why are you so sure they’re not using Steal?

I’m rank 30 Thief in sPvP and I am 100% sure they are using steal on you to teleport to you.

I use this at the last split second when im finishing Thieves to teleport stomp them, because I know decent Thieves wait for that moment to shadowstep away from me. Steal teleport stomping requires some quick reflexes though.

Again I am 100% sure they are ’’Steal’’ teleport stomping you.

if you steal you need to start the finishing move again and I always wait till the last moment of the finishing animation to teleport, when I do they teleport with me. no stop on anination no looking around to where I teleported.

weird that doesn’t stop the finishing move? that is messed up…!!! they need to fix that

This is not true, and exactly what everyone has been trying to tell you. Steal is instant and does not interrupt animations or channeled effects. Same reason why you can “precast” C&D.

If they fixed that, stealing would also interrupt C&D
Right now Steal is a “skill” you can use that doesn’t interrupt anything at all.

I know that but in down state !!..well you learn something new everyday. I guess I’m going to start doing it

and I thought you will clear target status when you teleport.
