Because that would entail Teefs getting something beneficial, and everyone will complain more about Teef Op’ness
Resistance is pretty new and not common at all.
I think we should try to look more at where we could have Protection added. Thief not having protection was probably a design chocie made a long time ago that shouldn’t apply anymore. It’s one of those thing like " warriors should be weak to condition " that was good in theory but didn’t work on practice.
If thief has to be made less reliant on stealth or evades, we need atleast a bit of Protection and Resistance access.
