hey guys i recently just made a thief like literally 5 minutes ago lol but anyway just wondering wat set of weapons do i need to lvl up to like atleast do good damage and dps if u could help me out thanks

Try them all and find which one you actually enjoy playing. You’ll never be effective with a weapon if you’re hating it and wishing you could play how you really want. They’re all viable once you figure them out.

That said, I’m of the opinion that in open-world PvE it is extremely hard to match the potential of sword and shortbow, simply because you can usually dictate your number of targets and AE weapons (both of those have AE main attack) are incredible whenever you can actually fully utilize the AE.

i really like shortbow with 15 trickery points. as i just hit 40 i went 15 acrobatics 15 trickery. but sword pistol is great using ability 5 to blind the enemies, preventing damage

alright xD i guess ill use shortbow to try it out for my secondary and use D/D as my dps and cuz i like the acrobatics with it aswell as the damage u do with most of the skills is pretty dang fast

Weapons don’t level up, you just unlock all their skills after using them for a few minutes. It’s nice.

Dagger Dagger – 15 points in trickery
Use caltops, Death blossom x3, steal, death blossom, roll for ini, death blossom, etc. The caltrops utility is crucial

Shortbow is better for plain ole aoe dps, but death blossom gives you amazing evasion.
